Co-operation for Accreditation (EA)
The EA is the European network of
National Accreditation Bodies. Its purpose is to ensure
the harmonized performance of national accreditation
bodies throughout the European Economic Area via the
development and promotion of accreditation criteria
and guidelines.
International
Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC)
ILAC is the world's principal international
forum for the development of laboratory accreditation
practices and procedures, the promotion of laboratory
accreditation as a trade facilitation tool, the assistance
of developing accreditation systems, and the recognition
of competent test facilities around the globe.
International
Accreditation Forum (IAF)
IAF is an international organization
of bodies granting accreditation to certification/
registration bodies operating certification/registration
of management systems, products and personnel. IAF
has played an active role as the lead organization
internationally for Accreditation Bodies in the fields
of management system certification/ registration bodies,
product certification bodies and personnel certification
bodies, and has worked to harmonize technical capability
among Accreditation Bodies and to promote Multilateral
Recognition Arrangements.
